Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the world.  Today I’m going to talk about Mount Everest.  Mount Everest is the tallest mountain in the world.  Established in 1955 by an Indian survey of current height recognized by China and Nepal, it was later confirmed in a 1975 Chinese review.

The height of Mount Everest is 8848 meters. Although Everest is located between Nepal and China, the highest point on the mountain top is China.  So Everest belongs to China.

Many people refer to it as Everest, which means “Holy Mother”.  Nepal Everest is called Sagara Mata.  It means the head of the blue sky. Climbing Mount Everest can be a challenge for even the strongest climbers.  It is very windy, and it can be challenging to climb.  Its speed exceeds 100 miles per hour.

From June to September, the mountain is under the control of the Indian monsoon. In some cases, snowstorms can cause up to 3 meters of snow. Rainfall is the predominant rainfall during the monsoon season, with cold storms occurring from December to March.

Did you know there is a death zone on Mount Everest?

The death zone is located 800 meters from the top.  Then Low oxygen levels during this time. It is difficult to stay for more than two to three minutes.  It can even be unconscious.  It is, therefore, imperative to carry artificial oxygen.

Of the deaths on Mount Everest, nearly 150 have yet to be discovered.

The first to climb Mount Everest was Sir Edmund Hillary and Sir Tenzing Norgay.It costs around $ 60000 to climb Mount Everest.  They must obtain a government permit before they can climb.
