Sam Dekker – famous basketball player

Sam Dekker’s full name is Samuel Thomas Dekker. He is an American professional basketball player. As well as, Sam represents the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association. He was born in 6th May 1994. Sam Dekker’s high school was Sheboygan Lutheran High School in Wisconsin. And also, Dekker represented college basketball for the Wisconsin Badgers. After finishing college basketball events, he played 2015 NCAA tournaments.

Career life of Sam Dekker

Sam played in 35 games as a freshman on the Wisconsin badgers and him ia one and only four true freshmen to start under Bo Ryan joining Devin Harris. So, Sam scored a season 19 points against Arkansas on 24th November 2012 and Nebraska on 26th February 2013.

Before the Sophomore season, Dekker named to Wooden Award and Naismith Trophy watch lists.

Sam Dekker was a very highly rated NBA draft prospect and he selected by Houston Rockets with the 18th overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft. And also, Sam Dekker signed his rookie scale contract with the rocket on 7th July 2015. But he missed to entire 2015 NBA summer league due to a back injury. Sam assigned Rio Grande Valley Vipers on 19th February 2016 and from 2017 to present, he represents the Los Angeles Clippers.

Dekker scored a career 19 points in 132-98 win over the Sacramento kings on 14th December 2016. Sam made his first career milestone start a new career with 30 points in 116-95 win over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Sam Dekker was on under 18 United States national team that defeated Brazil for the gold medal in the FIBA American championship. But he could play limited due to an injury.
