People already know what the highest mountain is. Without any doubt, everyone knows Everest is the highest mountain in the world. Its height is 8848m above sea level. As well as, it’s 29029 feet. It is situated in between Nepal and autonomous region of Tibet. As well as, first Everest climber was sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay in 29th May 1953. And also, it was very pressure to climb the mountain because of the cold temperature. Parent range of Everest is Mahalangur Himal in the Himalayas. Everest established as the highest mountain in 1955 by Indian survey. After that, it is confirmed in 1975 by Chinese survey.
Everest climbers in Sri Lanka are Jayanthi kuru and Uthumpala in 21st May 2016 and It is the first record in Sri Lanka.
K2 is the second-highest mountain in the world. And also, it’s officially name is Godwin Austen or chhogori. Its height is 8611 m above sea level and it is 28251 feet. It is located between China and Pakistan. As well as, parent range in K2 in the Karakoram. The first climber was Achille companion and lino lacedeli. It is hard to reach K2 from the Chinese side and easy to climb from the Pakistan side. K2 has never been climbed in winter and can climb July and August.
Kangchenjunga is situated between Nepal and India and It is the third highest mountain in the world. So, it’s height is 8586m above sea level and it is 28169 feet. Kangchenjunga is the second highest mountain in the Himalayas. As well as, the first climber was Joe Brown and George brand in 1955.05.25. And also, Kangchenjunga is limited in the west by Tamur river, north by Lhonak chu & Jongsan la and east by Teesta river. Also, It’s parent range is the Himalayas. Kangchenjunga is located in Teplenjung district, Nepal Sikkim in India.
