Rosamund Pike, English actress

Rosamund Mary Ellen Pike is an English actress. She began her acting career in stage productions such as Romeo and Juliet and Skylight. After that, Rosamund Pike gave her contribution as actress in the television film A Rather English Marriage (1998) and Wives and Daughters (1999) and Love in a Cold Climate (2001).

As well as, she received international recognition for her film of Bond girl Miranda Frost in Die another Day (2002). So also, she received the empire award for best newcomer. Also, Rosamund won the BIFA award for best supporting actress for The Libertine (2004).

So, she portrayed Jane Bennet in Pride & Prejudice (2005). Pike participated to the sci-fi film in 2005 and crime mystery thriller film fracture in 2007. And also, she represented the drama film fugitive pieces in 2007 and an education in 2009. She performed in the psychological thriller film Gone Girl in 2014.

Early life of Rosamund Pike

Rosamund Pike was born in 27th January 1979 in London. Her father is professor of music and head of operatic studies at the Birmingham Conservatoire. Her daughters are opera singers named by Caroline Pike and Julian Pike.

Pike won scholarship to Badminton school in Bristol. And also, she appeared as Juliet in a production of Romeo and Juliet at the National Youth Theatre. And after, she took a place to study English literature at Wadham College in Oxford which she graduated. She got the stage experience by participating in Davis Here’s Skylight, Arthur Miller’s all my sons. She plays by Shakespeare. As well as, she got second class upper degree in 2001.
